Minsk State Linguistic University was founded in 1948 and since then it has been the leading institution for foreign language education in the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian language and literature department at Minsk State Linguistic University with its highly qualified staff has been teaching Belarusian to foreign students since 1995. Belarusian is taught through the medium of Russian and West-European languages.
Students graduate with the following qualifications: linguist, teacher of two foreign languages; interpreter/translator, specialist in crosscultural communication.
